Hypoglycemia FAQs
1. About This Document

This document is posted as a welcome document of the Hypoglycemia Mailing List. On the World Wide Web the newest version of the Hypoglycemia FAQs can always be found at http://huizen.dds.nl/~hypo/faq. In addition, you can retrieve the document by email by sending a message to <listserv@lists.princeton.edu> and write "information HYPO-L" in the body. The server will send you back the FAQs. If all that is unsuccessful the text version of the FAQs can also be requested at my place (see address below).

Feel free to make copies of this FAQs for your personal use or for a friend or relative, including to share with health care providers. If you want to make this FAQs available to others on an ongoing basis (for example, on a website), please do *not* post or copy the entire FAQs. Instead, provide a link, or post only the Introduction and the About Section (this section). This will enable others always to retrieve the most recent version.

Advice given in these FAQs is never medical advice, as I don not have a medical background. If your symptoms show similarities with those of hypoglycemia, please see a doctor; several other serious (and even life-threatening) diseases may mimic the symptoms of hypoglycemia. Also, before making serious dietary changes I would strongly advise you to see a doctor or a nutritionist.

If you have any comments that may improve this document (correcting answers, adding question, reformulating statements, etc.) I would be happy to receive your note at the address below.

Best regards,

Lars Idema <idema@stopjunk.nl>
Anti-spam measure: replace "stopjunk" with "dds", my provider in the Netherlands;
I happen to receive lots of junk mail these days :-(
